The first time I was here the staff was kind but not that attentive. The second time the staff was a little rude. I'm not saying don't go, I'm just saying don't have the highest expectations. ”

“ I've booked a private room for karaoke twice with a large group of friends. This is the only place left on the East Bank of NO with private karaoke rooms. You use your phone to project onto the tv, and Poseidon provides the sound system and microphones. A server checks on the group often, bringing food and drinks in as you order them. The food comes in large portions and is good, but could be better. Mostly we just go here for the karaoke! Be careful with your bill! It's $25 per person for every 2 hours of karaoke. If people order more food and drink than $25, you will be very surprised by the bill at the end!! It's also a good idea to keep track of your time. If you go over the 2 hours, it will roll into another 2. We usually plan on going for 4 hours and set an alarm, because they won't alert you when the time rolls into the next payment. ”

“ My daughter and I wanted to enjoy the gorgeous weather so we walked over to Poseidon. It's right on the street car line. The place was nice and cozy. We sat by the window and enjoyed the happy hour menu which had enough choices to meet our taste. We ordered warm saki, chicken lettuce wraps and a crunch roll. The food came out promptly and fresh with a smile. If you are looking for a cool place to wind down and stare out the window while sipping warm saki, this is the place to go. ”

“ I thought the food was fine and there were so many options for food and the prices were great. I wish the karaoke room was more insulated as you can hear everything from the outside. The chicken wings are covered in catfish batter, which some people like, so just be aware. I think it's an amazing value and we had a blast. ”
